Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) Is a father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering. It organizes fathers and father figures to provide school security and positive male role models for students. Today, more than 3,156 programs in 46 states participate in the Watch D.O.G.S. Program.
The Watch D.O.G.S Program:
- Engages men in their student's school
- Inspires children
- Reduces bullying
- Enhances the educational environment.
Who are Watch D.O.G.S.?
Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures can be a Watchdog. Watchdogs volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.
